Statistics from Georgia Tech Recycling Services demonstrate the Institute’s commitment to good environmental stewardship. More than 365 tons of material — led by mixed office paper (140 tons), metal (78 tons) and cardboard (70 tons) — were recycled in 2006, and the Office of Solid Waste Management and Recycling promotes ways to reduce the amount of waste Georgia Tech sends to landfills.
